Campaign Title: #LymphedemaAwarenessMonth

March is Lymphedema Awareness Month

Join Lymph Rehab this March as we honor Lymphedema Awareness Month—a time to amplify voices, educate communities, and support breast cancer survivors living with lymphedema. Our #LymphedemaAwarenessMonth campaign is designed to shine a light on this underrecognized condition and empower women managing lymph node damage after breast cancer.

🎯 Campaign Goal

Our mission is simple: to raise awareness about lymphedema and its impact on breast cancer survivors, and to encourage the community to support Lymph Rehab’s nonprofit work providing affordable therapy, education, and emotional care for women with lymphatic complications after cancer treatment.

📣 How to Get Involved

  • 👍 Like and Share: Follow @lymphrehab on Instagram and Facebook. We’ll be posting inspiring survivor stories, expert tips, and educational resources throughout March. Help us reach more people by sharing our posts and tagging your community.
  • 🏷️ Use the Hashtag: Add #LymphedemaAwarenessMonth to your social posts and stories. Whether you're a survivor, caregiver, or ally, using the hashtag helps normalize the conversation around post-cancer lymphatic swelling and recovery.
  • 💝 Make a Donation: Every contribution fuels our mission. Donate to Lymph Rehab and support hands-on lymphedema therapy, wellness workshops, and advocacy for women who need it most.

🌿 Why It Matters

Lymphedema affects up to 1 in 5 breast cancer survivors, yet many women go undiagnosed or untreated. At Lymph Rehab, we provide certified lymphedema care, emotional support, and education— all at little or no cost thanks to community donors like you.

Let’s work together this March to raise awareness, share hope, and empower survivors. #LymphedemaAwarenessMonth

Tax Information Page

Are Donations to Lymph Rehab Tax Deductible?

Yes. Lymph Rehab is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means your donations are tax deductible under U.S. law. The IRS recognizes 501(c)(3) organizations as entities that serve the public good—so when you donate, you’re not only supporting breast cancer survivors, but you may also reduce your taxable income.

💸 How Tax-Deductible Donations Work

When you make a donation to a qualified nonprofit like Lymph Rehab, the amount you contribute may be deducted from your taxable income when you file your annual return. This can lower the total taxes you owe.

To claim this deduction, you must:

  • File using IRS Form 1040 Schedule A and itemize your deductions
  • Keep a record of your donation (a receipt, PayPal confirmation, or bank statement)
  • Ensure the donation was made to a qualified 501(c)(3) like Lymph Rehab

📈 Charitable Contribution Limits

According to IRS guidelines, you can deduct up to 60% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) in charitable contributions made to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations.

🧾 Documentation Tip

Be sure to save your donation receipt. For donations over $250, the IRS requires a written acknowledgment from the nonprofit that includes the donation amount, date, and a statement confirming that you received no goods or services in exchange.
