This perspective focuses on agriculture, which plays a key role in economic growth and sustainable development, particularly for developing countries. Agriculture is a major contributor to climate change, but it is also extremely vulnerable to climate change. At the present juncture, however, the WTO and UNFCCC have tackled this issue disjointedly, with little in the way of interlinkages. No wonder, then, that progress has been scant in both.
